Remakes of films have become very common in the Bollywood industry. They generally resort to choosing hit movies from the south or west or pick any old Bollywood movies from the past. Actor Manoj Bajpayee who has given 27 years to the Bollywood industry voices his opinion on remakes.

The 52 years recently opened up about how he feels about the remakes in the Bollywood industry. He reveals that there are so many stories around us that there's not really a need to remake films, instead a story can be made on people's experiences in life. Manoj says, "First of all, I don’t think that anybody should remake films. We have so many stories floating around and just look at people, go experience their life and you’ll have a story, everyone has a great story to tell in this country." However ask him if any of his films have any potential to be remade in today's day and he replies, "You can actually make Shool, Satya, also make 1971 all over again. So, all of my films have the possibility of getting remade. It’s always about the director how he wants to do the interpretation of it."

On the work front, Manoj Bajpayee has Muhammad Ali's Mughal Road, Milap Zaveri's Raakh, Campus directed by Suvahhdan Angre, and Rensil D Silva's Dial 100 in his kitty.
